Kibeho Parish Rwanda

Kibeho Parish has been a global pilgrimage destination for Roman Catholics since the Virgin Mary appeared on 28th November 1981.

The focal point is Kibeho Church, where the faithful receive Holy Communion.

This site hosts pilgrims throughout the year with two major date doming the calender – Assumption Day, 15th August and the anniversary of the Virgin Mary’s appearance on 28th November.

During peak season, Kibeho Church receives between 25,000-30,000 visitors. Religious tourists and pilgrims flock from across the world, including America, Poland, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Italy and India.

The safari Itinerary

+ Day 1: Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East.

Pick up from your Mombasa hotel or Airport in the morning drive along Mombasa – Nairobi highway to Tsavo East national park .  Tsavo East national park is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions.  After getting in park you embark on a game until midday  where you arrive at your booked Lodge or camp for check-in and Lunch . Later In the afternoon you proceed for a game drive until around 6 pm when you retreat back for dinner and overnight.

+ Day 2: Day 2: Tsavo East  - Mombasa

Early wake up , after a cup of tea or coffee go a for two hours gamedrive . At this early morning hours the animals are active since its cool . Experience also the sun –rise in the savanna . Retreat back for breakfast and check out . Have a game-drive on your way out of the park and drive back to your booked hotel .
