8 DAY ADVENTURE AMBOSELI

Day 1: Touch Down in Nairobi
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to Amboseli Porini Camp, arriving in time for lunch.

Spend you afternoon on a nature walk, accompanied by your Maasai guide. Along the way, you'll stop at a Masaai village where you'll have the opportunity to learn more about local traditions and customs.

Return to the camp for refreshing sundowners before enjoying a night drive and a chance to spot nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes and African wild cats.

Day 2: Explore Amboseli National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast before setting off through the Selenkay Conservancy to Amboseli National Park. Here, you will have the opportunity to view wildlife up close, stopping along the way for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot.

Return to camp for an afternoon spent at leisure before setting out on an evening game drive and sundowners.

Day 3: Journey to the Masai Mara
Rise early for a game drive before breakfast, after which you will transfer by road to Nairobi. Enjoy lunch before making your way to Wilson Airport for your flight to the Masai Mara.

After arriving at Mara Porini Camp, you'll set out on an afternoon game drive and nature walk, before you enjoy a refreshing sundowner. Dinner is followed by a night drive.

Day 4: See Wildlife in the Mara
Spend your day exploring the Masai Mara on game drives, stopping along the way to enjoy a picnic lunch. This area is famed for being the home of large populations of big cats, as well as playing host to the spectacular annual wildebeest migration between September and December.

Day 5: Set Off for the Islands
An early morning game drive and breakfast precede your return to Nairobi for your flight to Manda Island.

On arrival, you will be met and transferred by boat to Kipungani Explorer Lodge. Relax beside the pool and take in this secluded, idyllic location.

Days 6-8: Enjoy a Tranquil Island Escape
This island location offers a wide variety of ways to explore the surrounding waters: go windsurfing, water-skiing, deep-sea fishing, or scuba-diving. Set out on a dhow safari to Lamu, where you can explore the museums and mosques, or enjoy long, leisurely walks along the beautiful stretches of beach.

Day 9: Make Your Way Home
Enjoy breakfast before transferring, first by boat to Manda Island, and then fly to Nairobi, for your return flight home.
