8 DAY ADVETURE SAMBURU

Day 1: Overnight at Nairobi Safari Club
Upon arrival in Nairobi, transfer to the Nairobi Safari Club located in the city centre.

This is the perfect beginning to your safari, offering you a peaceful and luxurious stay, while you rejuvenate yourself after your flight.

Spend the afternoon at leisure and look forward to the adventures to come.

Days 2-3: Enter the Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast at the Nairobi Safari Club you will be transferred to the Samburu Lodge.

Drive past beautiful scenery, dotted with rushing mountain streams, and tea and coffee plantations, before you reach your destination.

Upon arrival, settle into your en suite room before enjoying your first afternoon game drive through the Samburu Game Reserve.

Apart from exciting game drives, you can also engage in birding walks, tribal dance performances, and crocodile feeding sessions.

Day 4: Experience the Aberdare Mountains
After breakfast, transfer south into the forests of the Aberdare Mountain range and the Tree-tops Lodge. Dedicated to game viewing, the lodge rises out of the ground on stilts overlooking a water hole and salt lick.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing or observing the animals that come to the water hole from either the rooftop or underground viewing platform.

Day 5: Enjoy Views of Lake Nakuru
Get up early for your drive to Lake Nakuru Lodge - offering stunning views of this flamingo-dotted lake.

Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its large rhino population and also has large populations of buffalo, leopard, zebra and lion.

After a game drive, you can enjoy a sundowner at the Rhino Paddock Cocktail Bar, or cool off in the swimming pool.

A delicious bush barbecue is served in the dining area, or outside under the stars.

Days 6-7: Enter the Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast at Lake Nakuru Lodge, transfer to the Keekorok Lodge in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Following lunch, head out on an afternoon game drive to explore the Game Reserve. Return to the lodge in time for a refreshing sundowner.

Situated right on the annual migration route, at times the lodge is surrounded by so many wildebeest and zebras, you don't even have to go on a game drive. Elephants and buffalos have been known to wander along the lodge's perimeter or even on the grounds.

Morning and afternoon game drives will introduce you to the wildlife in the Masai Mara Game Reserve including large herds of gazelle, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, leopard, and the legendary black-maned lion.

Day 8: End the Safari in Nairobi
Depart the Keekorok Lodge after breakfast and head for Nairobi, where you can board your outbound flight
