15 DAY ADVETURE NGORONGORO

Day 1: Visit a Maasai Village
Meet in Nairobi and head to Ambesoli Porini Camp, in the Selenkay Conservation Area. Arrive at your camp just in time for lunch.

Following afternoon tea, go on an escorted walk, with Maasai warriors. Your destination is a nearby village where you'll get insight into the culture and lives of the Maasai people.

Day 2: Go on Game Drives in Selenkay
Wake up bright and early for breakfast, followed by a morning game drive through the bush, along a private track. Enjoy a picnic in the park, before heading back to camp.

Go on an evening game drive through the Selenkay Conservancy, with a stop en route for sundowners at a scenic spot.

Then set out on a night game drive and try to spot nocturnal wildlife, such as aardvarks, caracals and bat-eared foxes.

Day 3: Enjoy Lunch in Nairobi
Let the sounds of nature awaken you, before transferring to Nairobi for lunch at the well-known Carnivore Restaurant. Proceed to Wilson Airport for an afternoon flight to the Mara, then transfer on to Mara Porini Camp.

Venture into the Ol Kinyei conservancy on an afternoon game drive, followed by sundowners and an evening game drive back to the camp.

Day 4: Spend the Day on Game Drives
Explore the Masai Mara for a day on 4x4 game drives. Today you also have the option of going on a balloon safari or having a champagne breakfast (both at an additional charge).

Day 5: See Game in the Mara
Go on a game drive through the Mara and further explore its wildlife-rich eco-system.

Though it comprises only a quarter of the Serengeti-Mara eco-system, it is essential to the survival of the wildlife, as it is provides sustenance for migrating animals.

Day 6: Travel from Masai Mara to Kilimanjaro
Start your morning with an early walk, accompanied by Maasai warriors, followed by breakfast.

Transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, connect with your onward flight to Kilimanjaro Airport, in Tanzania. Once there, you're met and taken to Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you enjoy a delicious dinner.

The lodge is built on a working coffee plantation and is known for its style, comfort and efficiency.

Day 7: Transfer to Oliver's Camp
Take a 3-hour drive to Oliver's Camp and enjoy a picnic lunch on the way. Dinner will be waiting when you arrive, after which you can retire to your room for a good night's sleep to energize you for tomorrow's game-viewing activities.

Oliver's Camp is the very definition of the classic safari experience and the staff at this remote camp are incredibly friendly. With only 8 tents, you can expect privacy and unobtrusive personal service.

Day 8: See Wildlife in Tarangire
See how life thrives around sources of water as you drive through Tarangire National Park.

Watch as wildlife gathers near waterholes, with predators in hot pursuit. Embark on safari drives in the areas surrounding the camp, and return ready for dinner.

Day 9: Settle in at Plantation Lodge
Make your way to Plantation Lodge, stopping for a picnic lunch at Lake Manyara National Park (home of the famous tree-climbing lions) along the way. Enjoy dinner before settling in for the night.

Plantation lodge is located on a secluded coffee farm about 30km from the Ngorongoro Crater, in a house that has been converted and incorporates African-European decor.

The eager staff are ready to make you feel right at home.

Day 10: Discover Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy
Travel into the Ngorongoro Crater, where a large variety of wildlife concentrates in a relatively small area.

Here there is the chance to see lions, rhinos and numerous other species that make the crater home.

Day 11: Fly to Serengeti National Park
Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast and a transfer to Manyara Airstrip. Fly to the Serengeti National Park, meet a representative on arrival and transfer to Sayari Mara Camp.

After lunch, set out on an afternoon game drive and see plenty of wildlife. Although the spectacular wildebeest migration takes place from mid-June to November, you can enjoy interesting game viewing all year round.

Day 12: Explore the Wilderness at Sayari Mara
Today is filled with exciting game drives, designed to give you an extensive experience of the Serengeti National Park. Return to camp in the evening for supper and your overnight stay.

Day 13: Move to Olakira Tented Camp
Fly to Seronera Airstrip, and transfer to Olakira Camp. After lunch, you can enjoy a game drive before returning to camp for dinner.

Olakira Tented Camp changes location within the Serengeti in order to obtain the best game viewing possible. Between December and March, the camp is situated in the Ndutu area, and from June, the camp moves into central Serengeti, around Seronera.

Day 14: Look out for Game in the Serengeti
After an early breakfast, go on your last day of game viewing in the Serengeti.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for any wildlife that you may not yet have seen, as you drive though the Serengeti National Park.

Day 15: Return to Kilimanjaro
From Seronera Airstrip, you fly back to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
