10 DAY ADVENTURE KIBALE

Day 1: Travel to Kibale National Park
Your adventure begins in Entebbe and takes you towards Fort Portal, stopping along the way to enjoy a packed lunch.

Continue on to Kibale National Park, passing the Crater Lakes region and stopping to explore some of the smaller lakes.

On arrival at Primate Kibale Lodge, you will have the opportunity to settle in and freshen up before enjoying dinner.

Day 2: Enjoy Primate Sightings in the Forest
Begin your day early with a hearty breakfast before heading out on your first chimp trekking activity through the tropical forest accompanied by your guide.

Kibale Forest is home to an impressive variety and concentration of primates, and offers encounters with, among others, chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, and black-and-white colobus monkey.

Return to the lodge for lunch, after which you will drive to Bigodi Swamp for a guided nature walk. This area is home to diverse species of bird and primate.

Day 3: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
The morning brings with it a scenic guided walk among the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains and a glimpse into the lives of the local people and their culture.

Continue on to Queen Elizabeth National Park, spotting wildlife as you make your way to Mweya Safari Lodge.

After settling in, enjoy the view from your private viewing deck before enjoying dinner.

Day 4: Take a Boat Trip on the Kazinga Channel
Your day begins with breakfast, followed by a morning game drive which offers possible sightings of lion, elephant and buffalo, as well as many other species.

Return to camp for lunch, after which you will embark on a wildlife-viewing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

Day 5: Travel to Bwindi
After breakfast, head south to Bwindi, enjoying a game drive along the way and passing small villages and traditional homesteads.

Enter the Bwindi National Park in the afternoon, and make your way to Buhoma Lodge.

Day 6: Trek Gorillas in the Forest
Set out early through the dense forest in search of gorillas. The walk may take up to 8hrs in steep and muddy terrain, yielding an unforgettable chance to see these animals in their natural habitat.

Day 7: Head for Lake Mburo
Enjoy breakfast before departing the Bwindi Forest, heading for Lake Mburo National Park. On your way to Mihingo Lodge, keep an eye out for wildlife as you travel through the park.

After settling in, you can enjoy a boat ride on the lake where you can expect to see abundant birdlife and hippo, or you can set out on a game drive.

Day 8: Journey to Jinja
Rise early for a guided walk through the park accompanied by a trained and knowledgeable guide.

Return to camp to collect your luggage and drive towards Kampala, enjoying a game drive as you go.

Continue your journey to Jinja - the Source of the Nile - where you will spend the night at Jinja Nile Resort.

Day 9: Visit the Source of the Nile
Visit the true source of the Nile and the beautiful Bujagali Falls.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing beside the pool, or set out on a quad bike safari or face the rushing rapids of the Nile in a raft.

Spend the night at the Libya Hotel where you can relax and enjoy the view over Lake Victoria.

Day 10: Depart from Entebbe
Enjoy breakfast before making your way to Entebbe Airport for your flight home.
